The BMW i Vision Dynamics is a a four-door Gran Coupe powered by an all-electric drive system enabling a range of 600 kilometres (373 miles), acceleration of 0 – 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.0 seconds and a top speed of over 200 km/h (124 mph).

The car sits between the combat i3 and the supercar i8 in BMW’s ‘i’ range and is just one of 25 electrified vehicles BMW is aiming to bring to the market by 2025.

Its styling is an evolution of that seen on the previous ‘i’ models but incorporates styling elements, such as the grille, seen on cars such as the X7 iPerformance.

A highlight is the uninterrupted glass roof that stretches from the front windscreen to the boot lid offering same and light inside the cabin.

“The BMW i Vision Dynamics allows us to show right now what another electric BMW might look like,” explains Klaus Fröhlich, Member of the Board of Management at BMW AG, Development.

BMW’s latest electric car isn’t expected to hit the market until 2021

BMW X7 iPerformancePH

BMW X7 iPerformance’s biggest flaw is its front-end design

The BMW Concept X7 iPerformance is celebrating its world premiere in Frankfurt, before it goes on sale in 2018.

Its looks are certainly divisive with a beautiful interior mostly with the huge panoramic roof that stretches to the rear juxtaposed with the ugly front end design with the elongated kidney grille and huge air intakes.

Six people can fit comfortably in the car’s generously sized cabin and a high-tech infotainment and intelligent connectivity are enticing propositions.

Powering the car is a plug-in hybrid drive system, which brings together BMW eDrive technology and a petrol engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology.

The luxury SUV will be unveiled in 2018 as part of the largest model offensive in the history of the BMW Group.

New BMW Z4 2018PH

BMW Z4 is a stunning concept cabriolet

In direct contrast to the X7 iPerformance, the styling here is absolutely exquisite.

The Z4 has returned with an even more dynamic and crisp than before with the introduction of the new grille, shorter bonnet and new LED headlight signature.

Prices are expected to be around the $50,000 mark when it goes on sale in 2018.

New BMW 8 Series 2018PH

New BMW 8 Series 2018 is an expression of new design language for BMW

The 8 Series returned in concept form last month.

It debuts a wide range of styling elements that BMW will use to inform other vehicles it produces in future including the pronounced chrome kidney grille.

If the driving performance can match the car’s exceptional design it could be very hard to beat.

BMW 8 Series will be on sale in 2018 and details of the car’s price, performance and specs will be unveiled later this year.

BMW i3 and BMW i3s electric carPH

BMW latest i3 and i3s were revealed ahead of the Frankfurt Motor Show 2017

BMW’s i3 got a staying refresh and new equipment features added to its specs when it was announced last week.

In addition to this BMW announced the new sportier i3s which has a higher output, model-specific chassis and unique design features.

The i3’s electric motor produced 168bhp which allows a zero-62mph sprint of 7.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 93mph.

BMW say that this enough to allow the i3 to top 186 miles of range but 125 miles in everyday driving conditions is more likely.

On the more powerful i3s the 184bhp electric motor can reach 62mph from standing in 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 99mph.

Prices start from £34,070 OTR, however this figure is slashed to £29,570 when the government’s EV grant of £4,500 is applied.

New BMW M5 2018PH

The new BMW M5 is the most powerful one ever made

According to the German car manufacturer the new vehicle is the most advanced version of the car that has been released to date.

It is also the most powerful too.

Power is generated by a 441 kW/600 hp V8 bi-turbo engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology an M xDrive all-wheel drive. This allows an acceleration speed of 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds.

Styling of the new car however is fairly similar to hat we’ve seen on previous generation M5s.

Prices for the car start at £89,640 but this can rise up to six figures if you get a bit trigger happy with the online configurator.

BMW also revealed the new M8 GTE,  6 Series Gran Turismo and 7 Series Edition 40 Jahre at the event in Frankfurt.
